Dr. Debnath is a medical epidemiologist with an interest in health system research, especially in factors improving maternal and child health. Her master’s dissertation studied the competency of peripheral health workers in dealing with common illnesses of childhood. She has also experience of evaluating Disease Surveillance programmes and has the experience of investigating several disease outbreaks/epidemics.
